symfony thou rock!
April 18, 2006 on 11:03 pm | In General, php | 2 CommentsStarted my first ‘real’ project using symfony! Got to admit it really is super cool! I am trying hard to graduate from the php4 /smarty environment to the php5 / MVC environment, and symfony seems to be the right choice! The problem with Symfony is that it is too dependent on pear and a ssh access! Some of my client sites are hosted on servers that do not have either! godaddy for one, boasts of php5 and RAILS, but without ssh access the true powers cannot be harnessed! Maybe I will try the zend framework, as that seems to be independent of pear. But for now, it is symfony all the way!
